Security/Damage Deposit:
Sea Star Beach Rentals requires a $100.00 deposit to be paid in full at the time of the reservation along with the submission of the rental packet. The balance of the rental needs to be paid, in full, 60 days prior to the rental date. Please be certain about your travel plans prior to making your reservations.
Rental and Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund in full the security deposit, lodging tax, and the cleaning fee. The refund of the rental fee is based on the following: if you cancel 30 days or more before your scheduled reservation - 90% of the entire rental fee; if you request a cancellation less than 30 days, we only issue 90% of the rental fee for the days that the home is re-rented by someone else. Check-in time is after 4 PM and check out is before 11 AM; we do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. We do not issue any refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
Pet Policy:
Sea Star Beach Rentals accepts up to two (2) well mannered dogs in our home and must be declared at time of reservation. $20 per night charge per pet, not to exceed $50 in total for extended stays. This fee covers the additional time and effort needed to clean the guest accommodations after a pet visit. Please do not leave pets unattended; if you do, please use the crate provided.
Cleaning Fee:
The $60.00 standard cleaning fee includes normal clean-up after your departure. Thank you for your respect of our homes and for helping us to keep our rentals affordable in the future. Most guests are considerate of our property and therefore we do not have to charge an additional cleaning fee. However, if excessive cleaning is required, an additional $25.00/per hour will be assessed against your security deposit.
Occupancy:
Occupancy during your stay is specifically limited to the maximum number of people indicated on the rental packet. Violation of this rule will result in loss of rent, forfeiture of your security deposit, and you will be asked to leave. Please do not leave children under the age of 16 unattended during your stay.
Your Privacy
We receive and store any information you give us in hard copy. You can choose not to provide optional information, but we do require enough information to create your reservation, contact you, and process your payment. We use the information you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, improving our service, and communicating with you. To simplify contacting you, we also make use of your email address to confirm transactions as well as notifying you about special events. We are not in the business of selling your information to others, and will share information only with third-party service providers such as our merchant payment service, who perform functions on our behalf. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Sea Star Beach Rentals, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this privacy notice.
